Polish Soldier Dies On Border With Belarus

A soldier of the Polish Territorial Defence Forces died on the Polish border on Thursday. The death was due to natural causes.

According to the press service of the Territorial Defence Forces, the soldier of the 14th West Pomeranian Brigade suddenly felt unwell and lost consciousness during a joint patrol with border guards.

First aid was rendered to him, they tried to resuscitate him. He was taken to hospital, where he died.

The incident happened in near Sławatycze in Lubelskie Voivodeship.
