Su-34 Doomed: AFU Colonel Gives 'Recipe' For Fast Elimination Of Russian Planes

One 'pair's' work is enough.

The Russian Su-34 fighter-bomber, which can launch guided bombs, will be doomed if it is taken in the crosshairs of F-16s armed with AIM-120 AMRAAM-class missiles.

It is important that the Ukrainian state, together with the F-16, receive such air-to-air missiles, Petro Chernik, a colonel in the reserve of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and military expert, shared his opinion with Channel 24.

‘Once the Su-34 is taken in the crosshairs, it will be doomed. Perhaps it will evade one, but not two or three for sure. Only a couple of F-16s can work to shoot down several enemy Su-34s...,’ the analyst shared.

It is worth noting that the enemy fighter launches aerial bombs from a distance of 40 to 70 kilometres, and the range of AIM-120 AMRAAM missiles in some modifications is 180 km. The F-16 can carry six missiles of this type simultaneously.
