Belarusian Defence Ministry Announces Developing Laser Weapons

Laser weapons are being developed in Belarus. This has been reported by Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces for scientific work Colonel Viktar Tumar at the military-scientific conference in Minsk.

The speaker stressed that the Belarusian defence industry is focused on domestic manufacturers.

"We are moving towards creating combat means that are based on new physical principles," Viktar Tumar said.
