Ukrainian Armed Forces Liquidated Notorious Russian Propagandist

The Ukrainian armed forces killed Russian propagandist and war correspondent Semyon Eremin. An FPV drone dropped a projectile on him, the explosion of which killed Eremin.

This was reported by Russian media, reports focus.ua.

“Izvestia military correspondent Semyon Eremin died as a result of an attack by an enemy FPV drone — after the ammunition was dropped from a drone, he was wounded and subsequently died,” the report says.

Russian media clarified that Eremin was killed in the Zaporizhzhia region, where he was filming a propaganda video.

Another propagandist and chairman of the Union of Journalists of Russia, Vladimir Solovyov, expressed deep condolences to the family and colleagues of correspondent Semyon Eremin.

What is known about Eremin

Semyon Eremin has worked as a special correspondent for the Russian propaganda publication Izvestia since 2017.

He filmed propaganda videos in Mariupol, Azovstal, and Maryinka. In addition, he was in Volnovakha, and together with a rotation of attack aircraft entered the city occupied by the Russians. He came under mortar fire near Vuhledar in August 2022.

It is noteworthy that it was Eremin who made the first stories on Russian television about the brigades of FPV drones, one of which actually killed him.
