Fisherman From Ashmiany Catches Pike Size Of Crocodile

Spring is considered a good time for fishing for predatory fish, immediately after the end of the ban on pike fishing, a fisherman from Ashmiany caught a "crocodile", writes fishingby.com.

According to the fisherman, the weight of the fish was 12.3 kg, which by the standards of Belarusian fishing grounds is quite a decent catch - the dream of many fishermen who are fond of spinning.

The fisherman does not give out the place of catching the pike, fearing the influx of visitors to the reservoir.

In recent years, Belarusian fishermen have caught pike weighing more than ten kilograms more than once. Siarhei Lisau from Slauharad was lucky to catch the largest pike weighing 19.460 kg. The fish was caught on the river Sozh. No Belarusian fisherman has managed to beat his record so far.
