The athlete was sent for questioning.

During the arrival in the United States, track and field athlete Krystsina Tsimanouskaya was not immediately let into the country. About this she told on her account in Instagram.

"My first time in the United States. There was a lot of stress and I thought I would be sent back," she joked.

Tsimanouskaya said on social media that she was not let through at passport control, but was sent with an officer to an interrogation point. The reason was the US visas she had received earlier:

"All because I had two visas in my Belarusian passport before, and I didn't use them. They asked why that was so, as well as when and why I got another citizenship".

The interrogation lasted 20 minutes, after which the athlete was let into the United States. She said two officers recognised her and wished her a successful start.

Tsimanouskaya flew to the training camp in Miami as part of the Polish team for the 4×100 metres relay. The Polish team will compete in Nassau, the capital of the Bahamas, in early May. This tournament will be a qualifier for the Olympics in Paris.
