We are talking about places on the military airfield of the Russian Federation and nearby.

It seems that it was really hot on the territory of occupied Crimea on the night of April 17.

A satellite showed six hotbeds of flames, recording the fire at and near the military airfield in Dzhankoy. Earlier, the Russian Federation had pulled additional air defence units there.

This is reported by the monitoring group of "Crimean Wind", publishing the corresponding shot with red marks. It is noted that the state of the aerodrome was recorded by the VIIRS/Suomi NPP satellite.

"VIIRS/Suomi NPP satellite recorded six hotbeds of powerful fires at the Russian military airfield in Dzhankoy. The time of the shot is 03.41 Moscow time," emphasises the project.

We reminded you that Russia kept a number of attack helicopters at this airfield. Also launchers S-300/S-400 were previously recorded from this very site.

Information about powerful explosions in Dzhankoy appeared today after 03:30. Local telegram channels reported about strikes on temporarily occupied Crimea. A missile danger was declared. Later the video of the fire, which local filmed in the area of the military airfield, leaked to the network.

We remind you that the 39th helicopter regiment of the 27th mixed aviation division of the 4th command of the air force and air defence of the Southern military District was stationed on the site. Also, it is likely that three aviation squadrons with Mi-8, Mi-35M, Mi-28 and Ka-52 were stationed there.
