Experts Loyal To Authorities Predicting Price Rise In Belarus

There are still risks that the growth of prices for goods and paid services will accelerate in Belarus. Such a forecast was made by experts of the Eurasian Development Bank, loyal to the authorities.

EDB analysts see risks that inflation in Belarus will accelerate even more.

"Under the current administrative regulation, prices can respond very limitedly to the growth of domestic demand, which forms inflationary pressure over the midterm horizon," expects the EDB.
