Belarusian Military Tries To Saw Down Fence On Border With Poland

The lukashist in uniform and balaclava violated the Polish border.

A Belarusian employee in uniform has attempted to damage the Polish border fence. The incident was reported by RMF FM.

According to the Polish radio station, the employee with a gun and wearing a balaclava was spotted with the help of surveillance equipment at the outpost in Dubicze Cerkiewne.

Patrols were sent to the spot. Upon seeing the Polish border guards, the man ran away. He did not manage to cut the fence rail. It was only slightly damaged.

RMF FM says that the Polish side has already drawn up a report on border violation, as the fence is on Polish territory.

The radio station notes that this is the first time that a person in uniform has been seen attempting to damage the fence, whereas before such attempts were made by people in civilian clothes.

The Polish Border Guard has not yet officially reported such an incident. However, on Monday it published a video of an attempt to damage an additional wire fence near Dubicze Cerkiewne.

In the annotation to the video, Polish border guards indicated that the incident took place on Saturday and that the attempt to damage the wire was made by a foreigner.
