Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with King Charles III of Great Britain in London, BBC reports.

According to the Office of the President, Zelensky congratulated King Charles III on his recent ascension to the throne, and wished peace and prosperity to the British people.

The head of the Ukrainian state also expressed gratitude to the British people and His Majesty's government, and noted that the United Kingdom is one of Ukraine's closest and most important allies.
