Large-Scale Fire Breaks Out Near Moscow Close To Plant Manufacturing Iskanders

To extinguish the fire a special train was brought in.

A warehouse caught fire in Kolomna, Russia, 120 kilometres from Moscow. The fire broke out opposite the Iskander factory, which produces Iskanders as well as rockets for MLRS and MANPADS.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine citing the Russian Emergencies Ministry's press service.

The area of the fire exceeded 900 square meters. It is reported that the ceilings between the first and first floors of the building partially collapsed because of the fire. A fire train has been sent to the scene.

The building formerly housed a railway car repair plant. The fire is being extinguished by 100 people and 29 vehicles. According to the map, the hangar is located opposite the Mechanical Engineering Design Bureau, which manufactures weapons and military equipment.
