Danilov: Ukraine Has ‘Technical Confirmation’ Of Russia’s Participation In Hamas Attack On Israel

During the three days before the attack, important events took place.

Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov said that Ukraine has “technical confirmation” of Russia’s participation in the Hamas attack against Israel. This has been reported by Radio Svoboda.

“We even have technical confirmation that Russia took a direct and huge part in this (Hamas attack — edit.) I can say that the center, which deals with cybersecurity under the apparatus of the National Security and Defense Council, monitors all attacks that are on our country,” Radio Svoboda quotes Danilov.

According to him, in the last three days before the Hamas attack on Israel, which occurred on October 7, the National Security and Defense Council observed a 70% decrease in attacks on Ukrainian cyberspace and analyzed where the corresponding Russian “military units” were deployed.

“They spread specifically to Israel. Therefore, the Russians are directly involved in this, they are an interested party. But I emphasize once again: there is no point in them being happy about this,” said the National Security and Defense Council Secretary.

On October 7, Hamas attacked Israel with missiles and invaded the south of the country, killing people and taking hostages. In response, the IDF launched Operation Iron Swords, striking the Gaza Strip, with attacks becoming more intense over the following days.
