Kadyrovites Want To Take Revenge On Russian Paratroopers For Chechnya In The Kherson Region

Conflicts among the occupying forces are escalating day by day.

The Russians are actively concentrating additional troops and military equipment to the south of Ukraine in order to counter the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kherson and Mykolaiv regions. The so-called Kadyrovites are also fighting on the side of the enemy, but they pursue their own interests in Ukraine in addition to holding the occupied territories for the Kremlin.

According to the speaker of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Bratchuk, the militants are seeking revenge on the Russian paratroopers for the atrocities of their predecessors during the Chechen war.

According to Bratchuk, who refers to the South Resistance Movement, Chechen fighters in the Kherson region are being created into so-called “protective detachments” that go behind the main Russian troops and make sure that they do not run away from the battlefield in the event of an offensive by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“According to the reports, behind the regular units of the Russian Armed Forces, units of the so-called Kadyrovites have been put forward. They are playing the role of “anti-retreat unit” when the Russians retreat under the fire of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Moreover, among the Kadyrovites there is a mood to take revenge on the Russian paratroopers (there are many of them in the Kherson region), whose predecessors massacred civilians during the Kremlin’s Chechen campaigns in the Caucasus,” Bratchuk said.

Recall that the conflicts between the Kadyrovites and the Russians are usual situations. Chechens clashed with Russian soldiers, often with shooting, which took place almost from the very beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by the occupiers. One of these episodes occurred at a checkpoint in the Zaporizhzhia region.
