Meanwhile, the Russian ambassador announces oil supply cuts at the Mozyr and Novopolotsk refineries.

Russian Ambassador to Belarus Boris Gryzlov visited the Brest region on 25 August. During his visit, he said Belarus would lose up to $14 billion due to the closed export markets of the European Union, Belsat reports.

"Oil supplies from Russia to Belarus have decreased due to reduced demand. Mozyr and Novopolotsk refineries do not produce the volume of oil products they used to produce and supply to Ukraine and the European Union. There is no need for this oil. There is also no great need for gas because the nuclear power plant in Ostrovets is running," Gryzlov said.
