On the night of Saturday, August 20, powerful explosions were heard in the occupied Melitopol, Zaporizhzhia region. According to preliminary data, there was definitely a hit on the military base of the Russian invaders.

It is reported by the mayor of the city Ivan Fedorov.

“Tonight there were powerful explosions in Melitopol, which the whole city heard. According to preliminary data, it was a direct hit in one of the Russian military bases, which the Russians are once again trying to restore in the airfield area,” Fyodorov wrote on Telegram.

“The collaborators immediately reported to their older brother that their air defense had worked. It worked so well that the smoke is still going. However, if there is such air defense in the Russian Army, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will definitely get them as quickly as possible. We are collecting more detailed information,” the mayor said.
