The US Aerospace Defense Command has tracked their flight.

Russian surveillance planes have entered the Alaska air defence zone twice in the past two days.

The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) reports about this.

"Over the past 2 days, NORAD has detected, tracked and identified Russian surveillance aircraft entering and operating in the Alaska Air Defense Zone on two separate occasions," it said.

However, the Russian planes reportedly did not enter American or Canadian sovereign airspace.
