Parents of Famous Opera Singer Margarita Levchuk Detained

Law enforcers also smash up the house of blogger Andrei Pauk.

The parents of renowned opera singer Margarita Levchuk were detained this morning. It happened in her native village Stradech, Brest district.

Margarita told Svaboda.

"In the morning, a bus arrived, a neighbour was called as a witness, I found out from her. Nothing was found during the search, but my parents were taken out of the house in handcuffs," said Margarita.

It is not yet known who detained her parents and what the case was.

The law enforcers also raided the house where blogger Andrei Pauk, Levchuk's colleague from the Krasnaya Zelen duo, is registered.
