A Ukrainian defender named Oleksandr, who was mobilised to the front, shot down an enemy drone on his 39th birthday.

The military man's successful shot was reported on Facebook by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on May 25.

"The man was celebrating his birthday at the front line while on combat duty, during which he landed the enemy bird," the General Staff reported.

The press service also published a photo of the downed drone and a photo of the author of this successful shot.
