Stanislau Shushkevich Got Into Intensive Care

The first leader of independent Belarus has been hospitalized because of the after-effects of Omikron.

Stanislau Shushkevich got into intensive care. This is reported by "Radio "Svaboda" with reference to the wife of the former Chairman of the Supreme Soviet and the first head of independent Belarus.

According to the newspaper, Shushkevich had been infected with coronavirus. He was hospitalized because of the consequences of Omikron.

Stanislau Shushkevich is 87 years old.
