Local residents write about three powerful explosions.

Residents of Russia's Bryansk are reporting a fire in the area of the Druzhba oil depot. The city is 154 kilometres from the border with Ukraine.

According to local residents, explosions were heard before the fire started.

According to the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, the fire was reported to the duty officers at 2am.

Locals are reporting three powerful explosions. It is more than 100km from Bryansk to the Ukrainian border.
