The information is being verified.

The information about the possible resignation of the head of the General Staff of Belarus, Viktar Hulevich, is being checked by the Ukrainian side. This is reported by the media.

RBK-Ukraine reports this, citing a statement by presidential adviser Oleksiy Arestovich in a TV marathon.

"Now we are checking this information, because there are a lot of "throw-ins"... I think that the resignation of the chief of general staff of Belarus, or in general the corresponding sentiments among the Belarusian military can be connected with the pressure exerted by the Russian authorities on the Belarusian army and people," Arestovich said.

Here's what's known about it

Ukrainian journalist Andrei Tsaplienko said in his Telegram channel that the head of the General Staff of Belarus, V. Hulevich, resigned, writing:

"Those who sent me this document say it is real. The Chief of the General Staff of Belarus has resigned. He doesn't want to go to war with Ukraine. But I think he should have thought earlier, before planning the war, not after they started it together with Putin," Tsaplienko writes.
