The dictator is expected to make "appropriate decisions".

A "farewell ceremony" for the Foreign Minister Uladzimir Makei, who died suddenly at the age of 64, was held in Minsk on November 29.

According to Ukrainian military analyst Dmytro Snehiryov, the sudden death of the foreign minister may indicate another attempt of the Russian leadership to put pressure on Lukashenka.

"The information, or some assumption, that the death of Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus may be a sign to Lukashenka already indicates that Russia has launched an information and psychological operation of the Russian secret services, aimed to put pressure on Lukashenka to make appropriate decisions," said Snehiryov.

The relevant decisions, in his words, should be understood as direct involvement of the Republic of Belarus in the armed aggression against Ukraine.
