Explosions Heard In Different Districts Of Kyiv

Vitaliy Klitschko said that an infrastructure facility had been hit.

Kyiv residents have heard the sounds of explosions in various parts of the city. This is reported by RBC-Ukraine citing eyewitnesses.

The information is confirmed by a number of telegram channels.

Also, the electricity disappeared in parts of the city.

Later, Kyiv mayor Vitaliy Klitschko said that an infrastructure facility had been hit.

"A hit on one of the infrastructure facilities of the capital. Stay in shelters! The air alert is ongoing," he said.

"Several more explosions in different districts of the capital. Rescue services and medics are following to the scene," the mayor added on Twitter later.

"The enemy is striking critical infrastructure with missiles in Kyiv. Stay in shelters until air alert ends," the Kyiv military administration said in the telegram feed.

The air-raid alert has been declared throughout Ukraine, except Crimea.
