Four Russian military aircraft were spotted at once in the airspaces of Poland and Sweden. Interception aircraft of the Italian Air Force raised the alarm because of it. According to TSN, the Italian Air Force reported this.

"Another immediate departure of Italian Air Force Eurofighters participating in air control activities in Poland to intercept four Russian fighter jets after they first entered Polish and then Swedish airspace," the Air Force said in its message.

They added that after the take-off of NATO fighters, Russian military aircraft were forced to return to the airspace of Kalingrad.

As The Sun reports, Italy sent four Eurofighter Typhoons to Poland in July as part of the NATO airspace control mission. These aircraft were stationed at Malbork Air Base.

It should be noted that on October 5, Polish President Andrzej Duda allowed the deployment of nuclear weapons in the country. He said that Poland is not a nuclear state, but a member of NATO, so it may receive such weapons in the near future.
