Ukrainian Army Breaks To Luhansk Region Being Ready To Attack Enemy's Main Supply Route

British intelligence reported significant successes in the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on two fronts.

Ukraine continues to make progress in offensive operations along both the north-eastern and southern fronts.

The British Ministry of Defence reported this on Twitter.

As noted in the report, in the north-east, in the Kharkiv region, Ukraine has now consolidated a substantial area of the territory east of the Oskil River. Ukrainian formations have advanced up to 20 km beyond the river into Russia's defensive zone towards the supply node of the town of Svatove.

"It is highly likely that Ukraine can now strike the key Svatove-Kremina road with most of its artillery systems, further straining Russia's ability to resupply its units in the east," the report reads.

"Politically, Russian leaders will highly likely be concerned that leading Ukrainian units are now approaching the borders of the Luhansk region, which Russia claimed to have formally annexed last Friday," the British Defence Ministry notes.

Recall, according to British intelligence, Ukraine has increased its offensive operations in the north-east of the country. The formations are advancing in at least two axes east of the Oskil and Siverskyi Donets rivers, where the Ukrainian Armed Forces were grouping after the previous offensive in early September.
