Fired Enough

There's just no one to work at Belarusian enterprises.

At the beginning of 2022, employers in Vitsebsk reported 8.9 thousand job vacancies, which is 37.7% more than on January 1, 2021 (6.4 thousand), reports the BOR telegram channel.

The most popular professions with employers are tailors, car drivers, cashiers, salespeople, repair mechanics, car mechanics and electric welders.

Among professionals and civil servants, the following professions are in constant demand: accountants, engineers, nurses and doctors.

In other words, these are the blue-collar jobs which are not distinguished by high salaries in Belarus. A legitimate question arises: how tiny salaries offered by employers are that even ardent supporters of Lukashenka refuse to take such jobs?
