Echelon With Russian Military Arrived In Baranavichy

Echelons of Russian soldiers and equipment continue arriving in Belarus to prepare for and further participate in the joint strategic exercise of the armed forces of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation "West-2021," says the Defense Ministry of Belarus.

Technical and logistics units arrived at the railway station of Liasnaya in Baranavichy district.

It is reported that upon arrival at the station, the personnel, traveling in the train, immediately started unloading equipment and supplies.

We remind that the previous West exercise took place in Russia and Belarus in 2017. At that time, it was reported that Russian troops might stay in Belarus after the exercise.
