Beijing said it expects stability in the region from Minsk.

China hopes that Belarus and the European Union will be able to resolve the existing differences in a proper way. Chinese Ambassador to Moscow Zhang Hanhui said this today, commenting on Aliaksandr Lukashenka's threats to restrict transit from the EU to Russia and China, reports TASS.

The Chinese ambassador noted that his country paid attention to the statements of the Belarusian side.

“China hopes that the parties concerned will be able to resolve the existing differences in an appropriate manner,” the diplomat said.

Zhang Hanhui expressed the hope that the parties will not undermine stability in the region.

Let us remind you that Lukashenka threatened to block the transit of goods from Germany to China and Russia.

Independent analysts believe that China may put pressure on Russia to resolve the issue of Lukashenka, who puts transit at risk.
