Belarus Enters Top 15 World Leading Vodka Exporters

The share of our country accounted for 1.6% of the total export of this alcoholic beverage in the world in monetary terms.
World export sales of vodka by the country amounted to $ 2.18 billion in 2019, reports Worldstopexports, which analyzes export flows in different countries.
It is curious that the share of Russia in the world export of vodka was only 7.4%. It sold "my precious" for $ 161.5 million, and took third place in the export rating. Sweden became the leader in vodka sales with a world share of 20.6% of the total export of this product and earnings of $ 449.1 million. France came in second with a share of 18.6% and earnings of $ 404.3 million, thinktanks.by writes.
Belarus took 14th place in the list of vodka exporters out of 112 countries selling this drink. The Belarusian share in world exports amounted to 1.6%. The proceeds from sales of vodka abroad were $ 34.8 million. For the same amount, vodka was exported by Singapore, which took 13th place in the rating.
