Belarusian, Who Was Deputy Head Of National Bank Of Ukraine, Started To Work For IMF

Dzmitry Salahub will work in the Washington office of the organization.

Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Ukraine Dzmitry Salahub will work in the Washington office of the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

He said this in a commentary to liga.net.

"I will work in the Monetary and Capital Markets Department in the corporate governance division of central banks," Salahub said.

The deputy head of the NBU added that his work will not overlap with issues of cooperation between Ukraine and the IMF.

It is worth noting that Dzmitry Salahub was born and raised in Minsk. He graduated from the Belarusian State University. Then he entered the Ukrainian Kiev-Mohyla Academy.

Dzmitry Salahub worked at the National Bank of Ukraine since the fall of 2014. He became Deputy Chairman of the National Bank in March 2015.
