Julie Fischer: Lukashenka Won't Stay In Power Long

U.S. Ambassador-designate to Belarus Julie Fischer believes that Lukashenka won't be able to stay in power for long if he continues to repress his opponents. Fischer said this in an interview with Reuters.

"The protest dynamic has changed the credibility of the regime in Belarus. I do not believe that any government that does not consider the will of the people, that unceremoniously ignores the will of the people, is viable," - Fischer said.
