The body of Lieutenant Colonel Ruslan Kavalchuk, head of the Drug Control and Combating Human Trafficking Group at the Vorsha Police Department, was found in his office on April 21. According to some Internet sources, the policeman had shot himself.

"He wanted to resign from this position ... "Please ... Release me from this position," - Tatsiana Kavalchuk, the wife of the deceased policeman, told Euroradio.

"I don't understand what's going on, what happened. They won't let me see him. I saw him in the morning. He took the children to school. Everything was fine... There were, as always, problems at work. But I don't understand what could have made him do it," - Ruslan's wife cries into the receiver.
