In Belarus, Note Of Protest Handed Over To Military Attaché Of Ukraine

The regime aggravates the situation on the Ukrainian border.

In Belarus, a note of protest was handed over to Ukraine in connection with "the increased frequency of violations of the state border in the air," the Defense Ministry reports.

According to the ministry, the note of protest was handed over to the military attaché at the Ukrainian embassy in Belarus. The reason was the alleged "violation of the border" by a Ukrainian Mi-8 helicopter on December 4 near the Novaya Rudnya checkpoint.

The Ukrainian side claims that there was no violation of the border with Belarus. This was announced by the assistant to the head of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine Andriy Demchenko, in a commentary to Ukrayinska Pravda.
