Some of those who live in rental housing do not pay for housing and communal services for more than 6 months.

The debts of Minsk residents for the consumed housing and communal services at the beginning of October amounted to 9.4 million rubles, the Minsk city executive committee told zerkalo.io. For comparison: in November last year, the debt was at the level of 8.9 million rubles.

As of October 1, there were about 59 thousand debtors for housing and communal services in Minsk. The total amount of payment arrears is 9.4 million rubles, said Maksim Bardovich, director of the Information Technologies Center of the Minsk City Executive Committee.

According to him, some of those who live in rental housing do not pay for housing and communal services for more than 6 months. “For such (payers - edit.), the district administrations are conducting a process of eviction from rental housing,” Maksim Bardovich clarified.

Belarusians either do not have money, or they don’t pay in protest. Both are a blow to the junta.
