Political analyst Valery Karbalevich commented to Salidarnasts on a strange news format on BT. The TV story on the appointment of security officials not only failed to name the KGB leadership but blurred their faces and even figures.

- Quite recently Lukashenka awarded a group of security officers for "outstanding actions" against political opponents, and their names were not mentioned either, reminds Valery Karbalevich. - The leading personnel of the KGB will also be anonymous.

In a sense, this is logical, says the political scientist:

- If the power of the current regime is dubious in terms of legitimacy, then all the structures that protect the regime should also hide their face.

The logic of secrecy among members of the security forces seems strange. It means they feel what kind of country they live in. They feel that the majority of the population does not like them (remember when the interior minister told them that his family was being "harassed" and threats were being thrown into their mailboxes). The fact of anonymity proves they are hiding from their people.
