FIFA Rejected All Claims of ABFF Against Shkuryn

The footballer refused to play for the national team under the Lukashenka regime.

As it became known to tribuna.com FIFA rejected all claims of the ABFF against CSKA striker Illia Shkuryn.

Earlier it was reported that ABFF sent a request to the UEFA Disciplinary Committee, in which it asked to apply sanctions to Illia Shkuryn for failing to appear in the youth team of Belarus for the matches of the qualifying round of the European Championship against the Netherlands and Portugal in September 2020.

Let us remind you that on August 15, Shkuryn announced that he refused to play for the national team under Lukashenka’s regime.

In December, the footballer signed a letter for fair elections and against violence. After that, he was expelled from the national team of Belarus and deprived of the benefits of the military service postponement.

ABFF chairman Uladzimir Bazanau said that Shkuryn had no right to refuse to come to the national team.
