German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas spoke out for the abolition of the Ice Hockey World Championship-2021 in Belarus.

"Anyone serious about solidarity with Belarus cannot seriously wish to hold the Ice Hockey World Championship in this situation there. It would be the greatest PR gift for Lukashenka and a crushing blow to the demonstrators. I hope the organizers will see it, too," he wrote on his Twitter account.
