BelaPAN Office Searched

During the search one of the journalists felt unwell.

Today around 12:10 a.m. Investigative Committee officers came to the office of the BelaPAN news agency. They carried out a search. Tatsiana Bublikava, a journalist of the agency, informed about it on Facebook. Tatsiana's blood pressure went up and she left the office. She was taken away by an ambulance.

According to Bublikava, the search is related to the case of journalist and media manager Andrei Aliaksandrau, who previously worked at the agency. Investigators want to find items and documents related to the case.

Aliaksandrau's detention became known yesterday. The Investigative Committee explained that he was detained in connection with his involvement in acts of gross violation of public order that took place in the city of Minsk. The journalist is in the status of a suspect.
