Macron About Lukashenka: We Do Not Recognize His Status as President

The President of France is on a visit to Lithuania.

France does not recognize Lukashenka's re-election to the presidency of Belarus, said French leader Emmanuel Macron.

"We do not recognize the election of Lukashenka; therefore, we do not recognize his status as an elected president," Macron said at a press conference with the Lithuanian president in Vilnius.
