Kiev May Refuse To Negotiate In Minsk Because Of Lukashenka's Illegitimacy

The Ukrainian delegation has taken up a principled attitude.

Kiev may refuse Minsk as a platform for negotiations on Donbass because of Lukashenka's illegitimacy.

It was stated by the Ukrainian vice-minister, head of the Ministry of Reintegration Alexey Reznikov. He stressed that today there is no alternative to the Minsk agreements, but "Minsk is not a platform that determines whether the war on Donbas will end and the Crimea will be deoccupied".

"After Ukraine has not officially recognized the results of presidential elections in Belarus, I will not go to Minsk, even if the pandemic ends. And I think that other members of the Ukrainian delegation will definitely not go".

The next meeting via videoconference is scheduled for September 30.
