Copenhagen does not recognize the legitimacy of the Belarusian dictator.

Danish Foreign Minister Jeppe Kofod said on Twitter that Copenhagen does not recognize Lukashenka's legitimacy.

“Lukashenko confirms his own lack of legitimacy by arranging secret inauguration. Belarus needs free and fair elections = a democratically elected president.

Fraudulent elections should not lead Lukashenka to the presidential palace, but to the EU sanctions list,” Jeppe Kofod said.

Important to note, Lukashenka is no longer recognized as legitimate by Germany, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Germany, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The list is being constantly updated.
