People In Ireland Call On Cyprus Not To Block EU Sanctions Against Belarusian Authorities

A solidarity action took place in Dublin.

According to the Telegram channel of the Charter97.org website, Belarusians and the Irish handed a letter to the Ambassador of Cyprus in Dublin, which was signed by the Belarusian diaspora. The letter contains a request not to block sanctions against the Lukashenka regime.

Earlier, Cyprus blocked the EU's decision on sanctions against the Belarusian authorities, as it sought to impose sanctions against Turkey in connection with its drilling activities in the Eastern Mediterranean.
