The head of the Catholic Church of Belarus has not been allowed in the country.

The State Border Committee explained to the head of the Catholic Church in Belarus, Metropolitan Tadevush Kandrusevich, why he was not allowed in Belarus, the catholic.by website writes.

"We inform you that you were not allowed to cross the state border due to the decision of the internal affairs bodies to recognize your passport as a citizen of the Republic of Belarus (the number is given) as invalid.

You have the right to apply to the Ministry of Internal Affairs in connection with the decision on recognizing your passport as invalid".

We remind that on August 31, border guards did not allow Metropolitan Tadevush Kandrusevich in Belarus. The head of the Catholic Church in Belarus was returning from Poland. The lawyers said that this decision is unconstitutional, since the metropolitan is a citizen of Belarus.
