Today is a crucial day in the presidential elections in Belarus. The CEC will hold a meeting to decide on the issue of registering presidential candidates. The main intrigue is whether Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya and Viktar Babaryka will be registered as candidates for presidency.

Earlier, CEC chairwoman Yarmoshyna said that the initiative groups of Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya and Viktar Babaryka had collected enough signatures to be nominated as presidential candidates.

Independent experts believe that in case Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya and Viktar Babaryka are not registered, mass protest actions will start in Belarus.
