Uladzimir Niapomniashchykh: Law Enforcement Officers Refuse To Obey Lukashenka's Orders Already

Belarusians are able to gather in a critical mass of protest.

Former police major Uladzimir Niapomniashchykh is the only protest candidate of Mikalai Statkevich, whose initiative group on collecting signatures has been registered. The Homel member of the Movement for Freedom and the United Civil Party has joined Statkevich's team, Belsat reports.

When collecting signatures, the activist was asking people to go to the polling stations not to vote, but to observe, as he believes that "this is not the elections, but a shell game between a mountebank and the people.

The guest of the program is convinced that disgruntled Belarusians are able to gather in a critical mass of protest, and if people do not break up, the law enforcers will take the side of the people.

"The officers (of the law enforcement agencies - editor's note) are already refusing to follow orders. As far as I know, a lot of people are quitting, although Lukashenka says it's not true," - Uladzimir Niapomniashchykh says in the studio of the program and adds that he's ready to take the lead of the mass protest.
