Lukashenka's regime continues pressure on the press

The Minsk Economic Court has considered the case on the suit of the Ministry of Information against tut.by. The Ministry believes that "unreliable information" in the materials, for which warnings were issued, is harmful to the state interests. Tut.by indicates that deprivation of the media status restricts the right of citizens to have access to reliable information. The judge ordered to deprive Tut.by of the status of a mass media outlet.
