PandaDoc Founder: Belarus Became Toxic For IT

Entrepreneur Mikita Mikada has stated that thousands of IT-specialists have already left Belarus.

Belarus has become "toxic for IT," market participants are leaving the country, Mikita Mikada, the founder of the IT start-up PandaDoc, where searches and arrests of employees took place in September, stated on Facebook.

"Belarus has become toxic for IT. Companies and specialists are slowly but surely leaving the country. Of course, our story is just a part of a mosaic collected from violence, internet blackouts, imprisoning of IT specialists, etc. Nevertheless, this part is essential," - he wrote.

According to Mikada, his company was going to hire about 200 people in the second half of 2020 and in 2021. However, the entrepreneur notes, now the "hiring is frozen". The company continues to look for employees, but already in Ukraine, as well as in Poland and Portugal.
