MAZ Loses Positions in Russian Market Of New Trucks

Belarusian trucks took only seventh place in the list of companies.

The products of Minsk Automobile Plant are losing popularity in the Russian market for new trucks.

According to autostat.ru, in January-November 2020, the Belarusian plant sold 3,159 trucks in Russia (3,449 over the same period last year), the naviny.by website pointed out. This is the seventh place among the giants of the automobile industry, operating in this market.

Top five companies, which sold most of their trucks, are as follows:

KamAZ - 24513 (24359 in 2019);

GAS - 6100 (7,791);

Scania - 4332 (4468);

Volvo - 3903 (4994);

Ural - 3,417 (2,677).
