Teachers At Academy Of Arts Stand Firm For Their Students

Teachers at the Academy of Arts have recorded a video message in support of the students who were expelled for their civil position, Radio Svaboda reports.

In the frame, there are 14 people who are saying the following, altogether and one by one:

— We, the teachers of the Belarusian State Academy of Arts, openly stand against expelling students. We consider the actions of the Academy administration illegal. The students were expelled solely for their civil position, there had been no other reasons. We do not understand this, and we accept no excuses, no attempts to justify such actions, and we demand to reinstate the expelled students.
