Today, since 9.30, the work of the operating unit in the Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Children's Oncology in Barauliany near Minsk has been stopped, the White Robes telegram Channel reports.

Out of five operating nurses, only one is working.

Zhanna Vashkevich, an operating nurse with 30 years of experience, is serving an administrative arrest in the Mahiliou prison.

The other three have the coronavirus infection.

The operations have been postponed, only the manipulations with central venous catheter are being performed.

"The illegitimate government contributes to the strike: it puts the medics in jail, does not provide personal protection devices and proper working conditions," - the telegram channel notes.
